Border Crossing - Home-built Aircraft to Switzerland

Information by the Federal Office for Civil Aviation

According to the ECAC recommendation INT S/11-1, adopted in June of 1980, there is no longer a requirement for special authorisations for the use of Swiss airspace with home-built aircraft registered in an ECAC member State. Due to this fact, the issue of such an authori-sation is not necessary for your aircraft and we would like to welcome you for your planned visit to Switzerland.
